Making art is an everyday event...a healthy habit. No need to wait for a special time, day, place - even if you have only a pen or pencil just draw something. Anything. Then do it again. A lot of my drawings start on the back of junk mail envelopes. Why waste a blank surface?
I dabble with different mediums for variety, but primarily work with acrylic paints. Working digitally is my latest passion as I can spend hours trying different things without making a mess or adding to my art/storage problem. Combining digital plus handmade is a match made in heaven.
Vintage poster art, Toulouse-Lautrec, Pinot, Cabernet, Zwiegelt, 86% dark chocolate, French-roast coffee, Golden Retrievers, sunny skies, foggy mornings, skylights, bookstores, heated swimming pools, and hilly hikes among oak trees. Oh, and biscotti. Don't forget the biscotti.
